Short answer
A category B licence consists of a fixed registration fee, standard lessons as needed, the twelve special lessons required by law, and the presentation for the practical test. On top of that come fees the driving school does not charge: the DEKRA or TÜV test fees and the application fee at the Bürgeramt. Nobody can quote a credible total in advance, because the number of standard lessons depends on your progress.
