Short answer
An education voucher can cover the cost of an approved vocational training programme – potentially in full. Whether you receive one is decided solely by the Federal Employment Agency or the Jobcenter, not by the driving school and not by the training provider. A private driving licence is not funded on its own; it can, however, be part of a suitable programme, as in our three active training programmes.
Requirements
- A consultation at the Federal Employment Agency or the Jobcenter
- The programme must be AZAV-approved and active
- The programme must match your career goal
- Minimum age 18 for the programmes that include category B
The funding process in five steps
- 01Consultation: we assess which programme suits you.
- 02Choose a programme: you decide on one of the active programmes.
- 03Funding appointment: you present the programme and its number to your funding authority.
- 04Approval: the authority decides and issues the education voucher.
- 05Start: you enrol with us using the voucher and begin the programme.
Costs and deadlines
- On approval the authority covers the programme cost – up to 100%.
- An education voucher has an expiry date: check the validity on the document.
- The voucher names the type of programme and the region where it can be redeemed.
- Without approval you can take part as a self-funded participant – we quote the prices in the consultation.
What is specific to Berlin
- The Berlin employment agencies and the district Jobcenters are responsible.
- Our programmes run at both locations: Hermannplatz and Zehlendorf.
- The legal training provider is the AZAV-approved TSA Bildungsakademie; Fahrschule Aren GmbH delivers the driving-licence part within it.
