Target group
People who want to start or return to work in care and support and need to be mobile for it. No previous care experience is required.
Requirements
- Minimum age 18
- German language skills sufficient to follow the lessons (level B1 recommended)
- Medical fitness for care work
- For the licence part: eyesight test and first-aid course
Content
- Fundamentals of care and support in the home environment
- Hygiene, infection control and occupational safety
- Communication with people needing care and their relatives
- Documentation and legal fundamentals
- Route planning and mobile working
- Category B licence: theory lessons, standard lessons and special lessons
Qualification
A provider certificate for the successfully completed programme and – after passing the tests – the category B driving licence.
Training provider and the driving school's role
The legal training provider is TSA Bildungsakademie, an AZAV-approved provider. It is responsible for approval, delivery and the certificate. Fahrschule Aren GmbH – visible as Bingo Fahrschule – delivers only the driving-school training for the category B licence within the programme.
